Welcome to the Grantfork Historical Society web page. Thanks for visiting! We hope the site gives you a glimpse into the history of Grantfork and the surrounding area.
Meetings
The Grantfork Historical Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Senior Center. Anyone with an interest in the history of Grantfork is welcome. Meetings begin at 7 PM.

Upcoming Events
Wreaths Across America will be held on December 18th, 2021 at the Grantfork UCC Cemetery at 11 AM. If you wish to sponsor a wreath, contact Wendy at 618-444-2520.

The December meeting will be moved up one week to December 5 to allow extra time to prepare for this event.
Historical Collection
We are working to collect historical artifacts and information about the village with the hopes of displaying them in the old city hall building.
Grantfork Homecoming
The Grantfork Homecoming is held every August at the Firemen's Park. The festival includes a children's parade each night, along with food, games, and entertainment for the entire family. The 2021 Homecoming will be held on August 20-21. Pictures of past Homecomings will be posted on the Galleries page soon.
